Foot Reflexology

Reflexology is a therapy utilised in Chinese medicine, based on the theory that different organs correspond with different pressure points in the body. In reflexology, pressure is applied to specific points of the feet that correspond to organs in the body to induce a healing response and provide relief from ailments. Reflexology differs from a foot massage in that it uses a targeted, pressure-point massage to restore the flow of energy throughout the body.

Benefits of reflexology may include:

  • Reduced stress and anxiety
  • Reduced pain
  • Reduced fatigue
  • Improved immune functioning
  • Improved digestion
  • Improved general wellbeing.

A reflexology treatment typically lasts 45 minutes. Following a conversation about your general health and wellbeing, your therapist will guide you to lie comfortably on the massage table and will then begin applying pressure to certain points of your feet. The pressure points your therapist will target will depend on your specific health needs—for example, if you are experiencing sinus issues, your therapist will focus on your toes. Reflexology is a safe, painless, and relaxing procedure designed to improve your general wellbeing. It can be undertaken on its own or added as a complimentary addition to massage therapy.

Prices start from $50 for 45 minutes.
