George has always had a passion for health and wellness. Initially beginning his career as a Dental Technician in Melbourne, George was recognised for his precision work and attention to detail within the industry; however, after 40 years of service, it was time for change.
Fuelled by the desire to continue contributing to the health of others in a practical, more personal way, he decided to embark on a career in massage therapy. Following the completion of his Certificate IV in Massage at Melbourne Institute of Massage Therapy, one of Australia’s leading massage schools, George enrolled in in a Diploma of Remedial Massage with an interest in assisting others through assessment and problem-solving in a clinical setting.
George then worked in private practice and at Banyule Massage Therapy Centre in Melbourne, before moving to the Sunshine Coast and establishing Transcend Health and Well-Being, with the aim of providing friendly, quality treatment and practical advice within a small community based clinic at a reasonable cost.
